The group was founded by its Chairman Late Pankaj Kumar Agarwal & Late Santosh Kumar Agarwal, who started the business way back in 1984 with a steel processing and trading firm in the name & style of M/s. Vishwa Steels. In the year 1986 the firm did a substantial business and was awarded the dealership of Rourkela Steel Plant secondary arising and defective steel items. Further, in 1990 a new firm in the name of M/s. Vishwa Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd. was set up, which was a manufacturing/ processing unit at village Goibhanga, Po.- Kalunga, Dist. – Sundergarh (Odisha).

With the growth in steel industries and financial strength of the promoters, a new unit in the name of M/s. Vishwa Ispat Profiles Pvt. Ltd. was setup in 2001. This is a complete complex manufacturing of cold rolled coils & strips along with related facilities e.g., HR/CR Slitting Line, Continuous Pickling Line and Bright Annealing Furnaces.

Further, to en-cash the sponge iron & steel boom in 2004, the group set up another plant in the name of M/s. B. R. Sponge & Power Limited, At- Bad Tumkela, Rajamunda, Dist. Sundergarh (Odisha). Presently, the plant has 2 x 100TPD Sponge Iron Kilns, Captive 100TPH Iron Ore Crusher, online Crusher to feed the sized iron ore to the Sponge Iron Kiln and all other related facilities.

Shri Harshvardhan Garg, aged about 33 years son of Late Pankaj Kumar Agarwal, resident of Civil Township, Rourkela, Odisha by qualification a BBA and PGD in Finance from S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He is also the Director of, M/s. Vishwa Engineering Co. Private Limited, M/s. Maa Mangla Ispat Private Limited, M/s Maa Shakambari Steel Limited & M/s Rashi Steel & Power Ltd. After completing his education he joined the family business and at present has experience of 11 years. He is the key person in management of all the Plants, be it machineries, equipments, spares and consumables and on the whole maintaining a smooth manufacturing process.

Shri Rohit Agarwal, aged about 42 years, son of Sri Din Dayal Agarwal, resident of Civil Township, Rourkela, Odisha by qualification a Commerce graduate and MBA. He is the CEO of the Company and has a good experience of over 20 years in Iron & Steel Industry with his initial parental business unit M/s. Rajgagpur Ispat Udyog. He is the key person behind the Financial aspects and Sales & Purchases of the group companies.

Shri Shashank Garg, aged about 24 years, son of late Santosh Kumar Agarwal, resident of Civil Township, Rourkela, Odisha by qualification B.Com, is young, energetic & dynamic. He has a good experience in the steel sector. He is also the the Director of, M/s. Vishwa Engineering Co. Private Limited, M/s. Maa Mangla Ispat Private Limited, M/s Maa Shakambari Steel Limited & M/s Rashi Steel & Power Ltd. After completion of his education, he entered into the family business. He looks after the overall production process and management of plant.
